Q. What does it cost to take the course?
A.

There are several different types of registration dependent upon your status.  Instructions and information regarding each of these are listed below.

Q. How do I register for a course?
A.

If you are an individual who wants to take this program, please do the following.

  1. Choose “I’m an individual, teacher, parent, or other interested party.”
    1. Select the appropriate button
    2. Select the terms of agreement
    3. Click ‘Continue’
  2. Create your account
    1. Enter your email address
    2. Enter your password
    3. Enter your contact information
    4. Click ‘Continue’
  3. Enter the number of licenses you wish to purchase
  4. Select Payment type and enter credit card information
  5. Once the payment information has been processed you will be notified at the email address you entered that you may begin.  If the request is received during business hours (8:00 to 4:30 CST), your account should be activated that day.  If it is received after hours, during holidays, or weekends, it should be activated the next business day.
  6. Questions regarding account activations may be addressed to Eve Shockley, Coordinator, at Middle Tennessee State University.  eshockle@mtsu.edu or 615-898-5530.

 If your school or organization has purchased a number of licenses, please do the following.

  1. Choose “I’m a teacher within a registered organization.”
    1. Select the appropriate button
    2. Select the terms of agreement
    3. Click ‘Continue’
  2. Create your account
    1. Enter your email address
    2. Enter your password
    3. Enter your contact information
    4. Click ‘Continue’
  3. Enter your Registration code
    1. This code would be provided to you by the administrator at your campus or facility
    2. This number cannot be provided to you by anyone at MTSU

If you are a professor, school or program administration wishing to purchase multiple licenses your students or teachers, please do the following.

  1. Choose “I’m a school or program administrator wishing to set up a multiple user account.”
    1. Select the appropriate button
    2. Select the terms of agreement
    3. Click ‘Continue’
  1. Create your account
    1. Enter your email address
    2. Enter your password
    3. Enter your contact information
    4. Click ‘Continue’
  1. Enter the number of licenses you wish to purchase
  2. Select Payment type and enter credit card information or select ‘Purchase Order’ if you want to be billed
  3. Q. What are the computer requirements to take a course?
A. Graphics Card and Monitor supporting 1024x768 or larger resolution

  • Firefox 1.X, 2.X
  • Safari

Note: Other browsers may be used, but are not supported.

Internet Connection:

  • Broadband recommended for optimal experience

Browser Specific Settings:

  • Popups must be allowed
  • Flash plug-in 8.0 or higher must be installed
  • Javascript must be enabled
  • Cookies must be enabled

Additional Software:

  • Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher
  • Microsoft Office or Officer viewer applications

Q. I can't view the video. What should I do?

Q. I can't open a linked document. What should I do?
A. There are several different document types that can be attached to a course. If the document is an Adobe PDF, then you can download the free Adobe Reader here. If the document is a Word (doc), PowerPoint (ppt), or Excel(xls) document, then you will need the Microsoft Office suite or you may download the Office viewers for the various file types doc | ppt | xls. If the document is a Flash video (FLV), then you may download the free Flash player here.

Q. I can't open my certificate. What can I do?
A. Your certificate is downloadable as a PDF. You may use the Adobe Reader to view it. You may download the free Adobe Reader here.
